Summer Day Camp Scholarships

Support our Youth – Strengthen our Community

Summer may be a “vacation” for youth, but it is also the time when they are most vulnerable if they are not actively engaged in safe, structured, and positive programs such as the summer day camps offered through Greenville County Rec’s Community Centers. Many parents are unable to send their child to summer day camp without financial assistance. Greenville County Rec’s community centers serve the communities of Brutontown, Mt. Pleasant, Slater, Sterling, Staunton Bridge and Freetown.

Donate to the Summer Day Camp Scholarship Fund

A donation of $155 will send a child to camp for 4 weeks and $310 will send a child to day camp for the entire summer (9 weeks). All donations will provide much needed support for our youth.

If your gift is in honor or memory of someone, please email the name of the person, the name and address to send the acknowledgement and your name to Colin Young at cyoung@greenvillecounty.org.
