About Us
Greater Greenville Parks Foundation
The Greater Greenville Parks Foundation is a 501 – C – 3 non-profit organization created specifically to mobilize public support and financial resources for our community’s public parks, trails, recreation facilities and recreation programs.
Our public parks and recreation providers do a great job with the resources they have and they can do even more with the public’s help and support. This support can come through volunteerism, public advocacy, or through financial support.
Across the country, communities are establishing nonprofit foundations specifically purposed to support their local public parks and recreation agencies which are continually challenged to provide more services at an affordable cost. The Greater Greenville Parks Foundation is just the vehicle to facilitate this growth, and bring our collective vision to reality.
Vision:
Parks, trails and recreation programs across Greenville County provide quality experiences for every citizen to pursue community, health, and well being.
